About the World Athens Negotiations Tournament (World ANT)
The World Athens Negotiations Tournament (World ANT) brings negotiation practice back to the city where it was born, inviting students to compete in Athens — the historic birthplace of dialogue, rhetoric, and collaborative problem-solving. As the inaugural global edition of the long-established Athens Negotiations Tournament, the World ANT is organized by the Department of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business, under the scientific leadership of Professor Ilias Kapoutsis.
Building on eight years of successful national competitions, the World ANT now expands this legacy for international students. The tournament invites 3-member student teams from universities around the world to submit their applications. Through a rigorous evaluation process, 12 teams will be selected to travel to Athens and compete in advanced negotiation simulations held in iconic venues, designed to test strategy, value-creation, communication, creativity, and cross-cultural collaboration.
Combining experiential learning with global perspectives, the World ANT aspires to become an international forum where emerging negotiators meet, learn, and excel, right in the city that laid the foundations for discourse, persuasion, and democratic exchange.
